Street Team
The job is just the beginning.
The Street Team Leadership Program employs youth from our community in a one-of-a-kind employment experience. Working in crews lead by college-aged interns from around the globe, youth are given the opportunity to forge bonds that cross the span of oceans. Together, these crews work to beautify their community, assist local businesses and neighbors, and serve as Camp Leaders for The Bezalel Project.
The Program spans a six-week period through the summer, beginning in mid-June and finishing at the end of July.
Train.
YWD partners with Detroit Fire and Police Departments, Youth Development Resource Center, and PNC Bank to offer Street Team participants invaluable training.
Work.
Alongside our interns, our youth work in their own community, coming alongside neighbors to build a more beautiful Detroit.

Street Team offers youth the opportunity for adventure. Whether its field day competitions, camping trips or canoeing, we pursue the fullness of life any way we can.
